Other songs from the medley that I pulled out -
Theme from "Banana Splits" show, "Gettin' Jiggy With It", "Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani.
What I want to know though is what went on in the planning sessions for this choir that the director decided to do this RANDOM mash up of 100 songs?!
The medley was based off the concept of a song about nothing. Aside from the opening solo another word is not sung throughout the medley. It is a bunch of nonsense words such a Na, La, etc. Hence the Na Na Medley.
It fits within the Chronology show due to the fact the original songs range from recent hits to hits from many years past. The opening solo essentially sets the stage for the concept.
